Not only is the Vapor 3X Pro Hockey Stick lightweight, weighing in at 410 grams (SR), it is also very durable, largely thanks to the Asymmetrical TeXtreme carbon fiber construction. This TeXtreme material is lighter and more durable than standard carbon fiber. This will allow the 3X Pro to be 10% tougher on impacts over the 2X Pro.
Keeping with the Elite Vapor Performance that the vapor stick line is known for, the 3X Pro will help maintain that feel of a brand-new stick. The HP Mold construction is a molding process that helps the stick to be more streamlined and help release the puck 5% quicker with overall reduced weight and improved recoil speed. This provides players with an unmatched and consistent feel during stickhandling, passing, and shooting.
The Vapor 3X Pro Hockey Stick features an ultra-low kick point thanks to the addition of the XE Taper technology. This taper is narrower and oval shaped. This design helps stabilize the lower portion of the shaft, as well as the blade, during hard wrist shots, helping improve accuracy and control during shooting. This design also reduces the overall weight of the stick.
Moving down to the blade, the Vapor 3X Pro Hockey Stick utilizes Bauer’s MaxBalance blade construction. This blade has been reinforced in the high-wear areas such as the heel giving the blade improved durability. The optimized carbon fiber layout reduces the weight without sacrificing puck feel during stickhandling and shooting.
