- Bauer’s Protocol Goalie Stick is built for goalies looking to make quick plays off the boards or send it across to an empty net. The Protocol goalie stick combines Bauer’s shooting-optimized SUPREME paddle with the VAPOR line-up’s controlled, PENTA-GRIP shoulder package.
- Paddle Design
- SUPREME SPYNE (Ergo-Bridge): Familiar to the fans of Bauer’s newer Supreme sticks, the Ergo-Bridge architecture projects a wide, flat paddle face for precision rebound placement. At the back, Bauer’s Ergo-Bridge paddle is reinforced with a rigid carbon fiber spine down the middle of its recessed paddle construction. On the ice, Bauer’s recessed Ergo-Bridge paddle helps to focus the stick’s flex down through the center of the paddle, enhancing shooting power and accuracy.
- PENTA-GRIP (VAPOR) Shoulder Package: To further its precise, controlled feel, the Protocol’s lower shaft adapts the pentagonal, PENTA-GRIP, shoulder and grip package from Bauer’s VAPOR goalie sticks. Matched by a high-tack, traditional shoulder geometry, Bauer’s PENTA-GRIP implements a subtle protrusion for a wider range of control and a more ergonomic grip.
- Toe & Blade
- P28G Curve: Debuting with the Protocol stick, Bauer has adapted their popular P28 curve to suit goalies looking to make precision passes and quickly clear pucks.
- Hybrid Toe: Complementing its unique toe-curve, the Protocol goalie stick’s toe is squared at the top, with a subtle rounding below to pull and play pucks off the boards.
